Southridge is led by a group of paid and unpaid pastors entrusted with shepherding the church and its members, particularly in teaching, protecting, leading, discipling, equipping, and providing spiritual care.

Taylor Whitmore serves as Lead Pastor of Southridge Baptist Church. In this role, Taylor provides vision, leadership, and direction as Southridge aims to worship God passionately, connect with one another authentically, grow to know God deeply, and go, show and tell the Gospel boldly. Taylor is passionate about preaching the Word of God and shepherding the people of God, all to the glory of God. Prior to coming to Southridge, Taylor served 3 years as a youth pastor in Cheyenne, Wy. and 1 year as a church revitalization resident in Denver, Co.. Taylor has a B.S. in Mathematics from Hannibal-Lagrange University and an M.A. in Theological Studies from Liberty University. Taylor is married to Jacquee and they have four sons: Ezra, Elias, Theodore, and Arwyn. Brent McCune serves on the pastoral team at Southridge Baptist Church to feed, lead, know, and protect the flock of God entrusted to us at Southridge. He devotes the majority of his efforts toward care ministries, guiding the church’s prayer life, and administrative pastoral work. Brent has a particular passion for shepherding the suffering through the pains that draw us nearer to God’s mercies. Prior to his arrival at Southridge, Brent received a Bachelor’s in Music Business at Southwest Baptist University, served as worship leader at three churches over a period of 9 years, and served as a pastor at First Baptist, Sunrise Beach, Missouri, for 11 years. He has served at Southridge since April of 2021. Brent is married to Michelle McCune and has four children: Zoe, Laura, Ruth and Charles. Kenny McCune serves as the Family Pastor at Southridge, and in this role he is responsible for encouraging a disciple-making atmosphere within the individual families of our church along with developing leaders in children and youth ministries and participating directly within those ministries. Since coming to Southridge in 2016, Kenny has served in a variety of roles including being in a formal unpaid pastoral role since 2019. Starting in 2015, his ministry has been supported through owning and operating Megaphone Designs, a web design & hosting company. Kenny previously pastored Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Jeff City, Missouri, and served in various home church capacities in Missouri. In 2010, he graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a BA in Religious Studies & Philosophy. Kenny has been married to Jessie McCune since 2005, and they have four children: David, Miles, EllaBeth and Wrigley. Greg White is one of the Pastors at Southridge, and his emphasis is to equip and encourage believers to grow and mature in their relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and to help believers better engage this world by effectively sharing the Gospel through their words and life. Greg preaches the Lord Jesus at Southridge, other churches, and any venue the Lord provides. After being called to preach, Greg was intensively discipled for three years by his Pastor at First Baptist, Juneau, Alaska. Prior to Southridge, Greg pastored Open Door Community Chapel in Jefferson City, MO, and planted churches in fishing villages and logging camps in Southeast Alaska. Greg also has 34 years experience in law enforcement (Alaska and Missouri) culminating as the Cole County Sheriff. Greg is married to Evie and they have two adult sons, Josiah (Texas) and John (Colorado).
